We bet you love our dinosaurs as much as we do at the Everhart! Because of that, we hired area artist Cassie Rose Kobeski to design two puppets featuring our Stegosaurus stenops and Tyrannosaurus rex. Now you can download these pictures, color them in, and attach them to a paper bag.

What You'll Need:
  • 8-1/2" x 11" paper or cardstock
  • crayons, markers, or colored pencils
  • scissors

  • lunch-size paper bag

  • glue or, if you want moveable parts, brads

How You Do It:
  1. Click on one of the files below and print out your dinosaur (or better yet, do both!). You'll need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader to do this.

  2. Color in your dinosaur however you want! Remember, we don't know what color the dinosaurs were.

  3. Cut out the pieces of your dinosaur. You can ask an adult for help if you get stuck.

  4. Attach the head to the flap of the bag; the arms and legs to the front; and the tail to the back. You can either glue them on or attach them with brads.

  5. Put the bag on your hand and roar your heart out!
